Subaru. The only three-time winner of Motor Trend's Sport/Utility of the Year® award.
Subaru Forester Wins it Again

Motor Trend announced that the Subaru Forester won Motor Trend's 2014 Sport/Utility of the Year®. Subaru is the only manufacturer to win this award three times – the most wins in the Sport/Utility category. In the past six years of evaluation, Subaru has had three winners – the 2014 Forester, 2010 Outback and 2009 Forester. The 2013 XV Crosstrek also ranked as a finalist in 2012.

The tangerine orange WRX STI makes a great pumpkin! I decided to dress it up because I was attending a family Halloween event to race pumpkins down the driveway. I knew the kids would like it and seemed to fit with the theme of the gathering. I even joked that I would enter it in the unlimited class. This car always gets noticed and dressing it up just makes it more fun, even when it's only parked.

Pilots N Paws - Saving the Lives of Innocent Animals
Operation Special Delivery

The Subaru "Love A Pet" Outback made the journey from Subaru headquarters in NJ to Hinesville, GA, to help set the pace for the ground transport portion of the Pilots N Paws, Operation Special Delivery – Saving Pets – Helping Vets. Many of the animals rescued will become trained therapy dogs for those returning from war with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The "Subaru Love A Pet" Outback returned from the journey filled with animals ready for new homes.

Fifty-seven planes flew 251 animals and ground transport moved 280 animals that were slated to be euthanized if not rescued. A total of 151 pilots and co-pilots participated along with nearly 200 volunteers.

Subaru celebrity volunteer, animal advocate, actress and New York Times best-selling author, Pam Grier joined Subaru in the effort helping to place collars and tags on these beautiful rescues, and of course she gave them lots of hugs!
