SUBARU AT THE 2007 NORTH AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW (NAIAS)


		For the first time ever, Subaru sold more than 200,000 vehicles in a calendar year.

In early January, Subaru of America, Inc. Executive Vice President Thomas J. Doll made the company’s annual presentation at the NAIAS in Detroit. In his speech, Doll introduced the 2008 Legacy and Outback models to members of the press. He also touched upon these key Subaru messages:

Record sales for Subaru in 2006
40th anniversary of the Subaru Boxer engine
35th anniversary of Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive
Three Subaru vehicles chosen as Top Safety Picks by the IIHS in 2006 – more than any other manufacturer (see the “Insurance Institute for Highway Safety” story in this issue)
