The American Automobile Association (AAA) and Parents magazine have collaborated and made their picks for the best family vehicles for 2006 in five categories. In making their choices, the vehicles were scored for reliability, value, style, convenience, comfort and superior road performance. Safety was one of the primary concerns in selecting the best. Three vehicles were named in each category.

The B9 Tribeca was named one of the best in the “Crossovers” category, which replaced “Station Wagons” from last year.
