Subaru the Official Vehicle and Sponsor for Three Paddling Events in Early Fall THE WEST COAST SEA KAYAK SYMPOSIUM. Held at Fort Worden State Park Conference Center in Port Townsend, Washington, the event featured a weekend-long festival and symposium with activities and events for paddlers of all ages and paddling abilities. The festival at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Tuckaseegee Ford Park, Charlotte, North Carolina, included a full day of activities and clinics along with a kids’ zone, kayak races, food, and live music. The largest river festival in the world took place at Nicholas County Veterans Memorial Park in Summersville, West Virginia, in late September.
