Subaru Hosts Third Annual Fall Festival at Greensgrow Farms

During the first weekend of October, Subaru hosted its third annual Fall Festival at Greensgrow Farms in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (www.greensgrow.org). The event offered opportunities for attendees to sharpen their cooking and gardening skills as well as to make donations of coats to a local shelter.

Chef Spike Mendelsohn gave cooking demonstrations and Evette Rios taught no-carve pumpkin decorating. Mendelsohn has been a contestant on the Top Chef television show, and Evette Rios is a craft and design expert who is a contributor to the Rachael Ray Show.

Attendees also were able to learn how to make apple cider, make Subaru pet identification tags, design pet T-shirts, and/or adopt a pet on-site. Plus, personnel from The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), a Subaru partner, were on hand to help with adoptions and explain spay and neuter programs.
